Youth Development Advisor, Childhood Nutrition

The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) seeks a career-track academic candidate to organize, direct, and coordinate educational and applied research programs to improve the nutritional status of LA County youth, with a special focus on needs of low-income youth.

Minimum of a Master's Degree in nutrition or a closely related field is required. Status as a Registered Dietitian is preferred, but not required.

• Demonstrated outreach and education/experience/skills is preferred.
• Must demonstrate ability to relate research-based information to the public, conduct applied research, and teach effectively.
• Computer skills required.
